Why UX?
I’ve been interested in design since I can remember–I used to be a print designer for newspapers and magazines, but I gradually became interested in digital design. I started taking web design courses in Boston, in addition to my college courses, and discovered UX as a discipline. I was excited by the idea of combining my love for design with my love of cognitive and behavioral psychology. I’m interested in understanding what drives people, and UX allows me to incorporate that into everything I do.

While I’m currently focused more on the design side of HCI, I’m also comfortable conducting user research. I aim to be the type of designer who can tackle all phases of the design lifecycle, and take a product from idea to actuality.
